Bells Bash Cliff RUN
Bells Bash Cliff Run Announcement
Please note this event is currently on pause.
The Jan Juc Surf Club Board made the decision to pause the Bells Bash Cliff Run event. The Board and Event Directors carefully reviewed the event and the decline in numbers over the previous events that impacted the profitability of the event given the costs involved and extensive demand on our volunteer members time.
The Board will be re-evaluating what the Bells Bash could look like in future years with the view to relaunch the Bells Bash in the future with a re-imagined event that appeals to an ever changing audience. If you have any questions regarding this decision, please feel free to contact Club President Brett Thompson (email@example.com) or Sponsorship & Fundraising Director on (firstname.lastname@example.org).
History of the Bells Bash Cliff Run
The Bells Bash Cliff Run fun run was first held in 2004 along the cliff top ocean track from the Jan Juc Surf Club to the iconic Bells Beach. The run has been a major fundraising event for the Jan Juc Surf Life Saving Club since. The Bells Bash Cliff Run offered a range of distances to suit an array of fitness and age levels. These cliff tracks are available to run everyday of the year and follow the different course distances below.
Junior Juc Bash (1.5km)
1.5km – perfect for junior runners aged 5-12 years and a great introduction to fun runs. The Junior Juc Bash 1.5km starts at the Jan Juc SLSC on Clubhouse Road, Jan Juc, and heads along the marked and manned tracks towards Rocky Point, then along the Jan Juc Beach for a sand run home. Our youth club members are out in force supporting these junior runners along the way. Parents are welcome to run with younger entrants in this event.

The return leg follows the cliff track all the way to the finish point at the new Jan Juc Surf Life Saving Club.
